Julian Perez is a DJ and electronic music producer based in Spain with a summer residency at Underground Ibiza. He has been active since the early 1990s, playing House, Techno and Minimal. He is the founder of vinyl labels Fathers & Sons Productions (2012) and Girada Unlimited, has performed in over 50 countries and 150 cities, and released two studio albums: Solemnity (2016) and Break-Even (2021). Julian Perez's debut album, Solemnity, is set to drop on his Fathers & Sons Productions label and will be the imprint's last release.

The double LP (FAS012) spans eleven tracks across four sides of vinyl, covering what XLR8R describes as "floating soundscapes, electro-tinged 909 beats, spaced-out club weapons, and deep, dub techno." It is the twelfth and final release on the label Perez founded in Ibiza in 2012.

Having built Fathers & Sons into one of the most respected vinyl-only imprints in underground electronic music — with every record selling out within days — Perez chose to close the label at the peak of its influence, with his own debut album as the definitive final statement.

Solemnity was available on Perez's Bandcamp and through selected record stores worldwide.
